INCEPTION – Strengthening European vocational excellence through interconnected skills networks
Project duration: April 2026 – March 2029
INCEPTION responds to key challenges faced by vocational education systems, including fragmentation between initiatives, limited cross-project collaboration, and difficulties in achieving long-term sustainability and formal recognition of training programs. To address these challenges, INCEPTION brings together five complementary Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) that form the foundation of a new European alliance for collaboration and innovation.
Coordinated by EWF, the project brings together BIL – Belgium Welding Institute (Belgium), Fraunhofer FIT (Germany), Hanse-Parlament (Germany) and Algebra University (Croatia). The consortium will work together to advance the project’s objectives and lay the groundwork for long-term cooperation and knowledge exchange between CoVEs.
