The Fraunhofer Personnel Certification Authority certifies qualifications in the field of "Hydrogen".
The Foundation Level Certificate "Regulations for Hydrogen Production Systems" certifies that graduates have relevant practical knowledge. They are able to
- make proposals for the cost analysis (CAPEX, OPEX, LCOH) of a hydrogen production project,
- list the relevant quality factors of hydrogen in different production processes,
- consider the legal framework for hydrogen projects,
- submit proposals for site evaluation and selection for hydrogen production plants
- to propose measures for explosion protection,
- submit proposals for risk analyses and hazard assessments,
- to observe the HSE requirements in the operation of electrolysis systems.
